Junior / Collegiate GolfAs One of Golf Magazine’s Top 100 Teachers in America, Tom would like nothing better then to fill his day by teaching and coaching America’s junior and collegiate players. His students are more serious about taking their game to the next level and have won over 125 local, regional, and state titles. They have qualified and played in both the USGA Junior Boys and Girls National Championships. Titles include State Junior Championships, State Amateurs Championships and wins on the AJGA, IJGT, FCWT, as well as the Plantation Tour.
Tom’s students have won both here and in Europe. His players have recorded wins of major recognition on both the Amateur and Collegiate, including the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship, the Dixie Amateur Championship, and participation in US Open Championships and on major professional tours!
When working with junior players, one of Tom’s priorities is education. Tom works hard to instill this in each player. Tom has said “our goal is to play college golf, but more important our goal is to go to a quality institution and leave with a degree”. Education first, golf second!
Recently, Tom has added College Consultation to his instruction offerings for high school golfers. Choosing the right college is stressful enough for any high school student. But, if your son or daughter is a gifted golfer, they need the right school to nurture their talent. Tom will help you find and choose the perfect college for your high school student.
